My favorite animal I’ve worked with is the baby opossum. I love their big ears and innocent look.
I volunteer at the wildlife hospital because:
I volunteer at the wildlife hospital because this gives me an opportunity to fulfill my childhood dream of working and caring for animals.

My favorite part of volunteering:
My favorite part of volunteering is the feeling that I am contributing to the community and possibly making a difference to the animals which gives me the feeling of a productive retirement. Also, working with so many dedicated young people is like a breath of fresh air.
My favorite memory of volunteering:
My favorite memory of volunteering is seeing up close the beauty and intricacies of the feathers of so many of our native birds. This has been an eye-opener. Spectacular artwork.
