There are just a few weeks left to check out the Turtles around town.
Multi-talented and world renowned, Kathy Spalding called Naples her home but her work is exhibited all around the world. This bronze loggerhead is similar to the one used as a model for the project and will be the first piece to be sold since Kathy’s passing in September 2014. The bronze is located inside the Conservancy’s Eaton Conservation Hall.
The Conservancy’s own Matthew Jenson is the artist behind Barbara, created in honor of his mother. You can see “Barbara” just outside the Conservancy’s Welcome Center Gazebo.
Located at the intersection of the Conservancy, the Naples Zoo and Greenway entrance sits artist, Marjorie Pesek’s, Off Like a Herd of Turtles.
