Never Miss a Conservancy Facebook Post!
You’ve probably heard Facebook is changing its algorithm to determine what content you see in your news feed. Unfortunately, this is going to make it less likely for you to see posts from the Conservancy. But don’t worry! We have a quick and easy solution.
If you like seeing pictures from inside the von Arx Wildlife Hospital, photos from our Science Department while they’re out in the field, videos from our Education team, Action Alerts from the Policy Department and more… there’s an easy way to make sure you don’t miss anything we have going on!
Whether you’re on a computer, an Apple device or an Android device, the solution is simple.
Computer users
- On Facebook.com, select the little blue drop-down arrow in the top right corner of the page.
- Click “News Feed Preferences”
- Click “Prioritize who to see first”
- Pick which pages and profiles you’d like to show up first in your news feed. This would be the time to select the Conservancy of Southwest Florida!
- Click “Done”
iPhone users
- Click the three-line menu button in the bottom right-hand corner of the app
- Scroll down to the bottom of that menu and then click “Settings”
- Click “News Feed Preferences”
- Click “Prioritize who to see first”
- Pick which pages and profiles you’d like to show up first in your news feed. Again, in the name of good decision making, choose the Conservancy of Southwest Florida.
- Click “Done”
Android Users
- Click the three-line menu in the top right-hand corner of the app
- Scroll to the bottom of the menu and click “News Feed Preferences”
- Click “Prioritize who to see first”
- Pick which pages and profiles you’d like to show up first in your news feed. OK, we told the computer and iPhone users up above. But to you Android users out there… this would be the time to pick the Conservancy of Southwest Florida!
- Click “Done”
Facebook is one of our favorite ways to keep all of you informed about what our teams are working on. So THANK YOU for taking these quick steps to make sure we can still do that!
