Happy 97th Birthday, Jayne Derf!

Time to break out the party hats and streamers! Recently, Jayne Derf, a long-term volunteer at the Conservancy of Southwest Florida, celebrated her 97th birthday.

Jane has dedicated 27 years and over 6,300 hours of volunteer service. To honor her amazing commitment and celebrate her milestone, the Conservancy threw Jayne a surprise birthday party filled with cake, confetti, and good times.

Originally from Indiana, Jayne moved to Naples, Florida in 1986. Shortly after, she began volunteering at several local organizations, including the conservancy. Her love of animals and desire to make a difference drives her volunteer work.

Jayne’s inspiring story demonstrates that you are never too old to serve and give back to your community. From all of us at the Conservancy of Southwest Florida, thank you for your incredible service, and happy birthday!
