Guided Kayak Tours

Monday — Saturday 10 a.m. (2 hours)

Enjoy a Naturalist guided kayak tour on the Gordon River. Paddle through a maze of mangrove trees, spotting jumping fish, wading birds, and maybe even manatees! Discover the importance of mangrove estuaries as nature’s nurseries and learn how you can help to protect our local waterways.

Daily Kayak Rentals

Launch on the hour between 9:00 am — 1:00 pm (2 hours)

Conservancy members can launch from the Allyn Family Lagoon and enjoy a two-hour kayak trek exploring a pristine mangrove estuary. Paddle down the Gordon River and discover the hidden treasures of this brackish water habitat, which provides sanctuary for many Florida native species.

Electric Boat Tours

Free with Nature Center admission | 10:00 am — 3:00 pm

Conservancy guests can enjoy a relaxing 45-minute nature cruise along the Gordon River and learn first-hand about the majestic mangroves, the importance of Florida’s estuaries and the animals that inhabit these ecosystems. Guides will point out the natural beauty surrounding the Conservancy Nature Center including wading birds and possibly a manatee or two! This is a great way for families, nature lovers, and boaters to enjoy a unique experience in the water.

Boat and Brunch

Boat leaves the Nature Center on Sundays at 11 am and 12 pm

Your guided tour takes you along the Gordon River for brunch at Gordon’s on the River, located within Naples Harbour. After your meal, cruise back to the Conservancy’s Nature Center and explore all we have to offer! (Price of lunch not included in Conservancy admission.)

Rookery Bay Eco-Cruise

From January through April the Conservancy offers an exclusive eco-cruise through Rookery Bay. Eco-cruises aboard the Good Fortune II pontoon boat provide guests with a fun and informative reminder of the Conservancy’s positive impact on our environment.

Good Fortune II adventures include daily “Leisurely Lunch” and “Classic Sunset” cruises, as well as a selection of specialty cruises and private charters. Coast Guard certified boat captains, accompanied by trained naturalists, help spot and identify wildlife, and provide guests with an experience that is both relaxing and informative.

Free Nature Walks — Various locations

The Conservancy of Southwest Florida offers FREE Guided Nature Walks at three great Collier County locations. The nature walks are a great way to learn more about the Southwest’s natural environment. They make a perfect outing for visitors and guests. All walks conducted by trained Conservancy of Southwest Florida volunteers. Sunscreen, comfortable shoes and a camera are recommended.
